Residents undergo a structured robotic training curriculum on two hi-fidelity robotic trainers, and Madigan boasts two DaVinci Xi robotic systems each with dual-consoles.  By the end of residency, Madigan residents far exceed the minimum case numbers required to become credentialed in robotic-assisted surgery.

Madigan is the FLS testing center for the region, providing residents immediate access to the highest-fidelity trainers. The Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS) course is a comprehensive web-based education module that includes a hands-on skills training component. FLS aims to teach cognitive skills, decision-making, and technical skills in a consistent, scientifically-accepted format

Madigan is the FES testing center for the region, providing residents immediate access to the highest-fidelity trainers.
